Some may ask why?? What’s the point? So, let’s talk about it…..
What are Affirmations?
Affirmations are positive statements said to yourself that help you overcome self-destruction and negative thoughts. When you repeat them often you start to believe it, and then you can start to make positive changes in your life.
Why are Affirmations so important?
Speaking positive words to yourself help to block out any negativity that comes your way via someone talking bad about you or situations in life not going your way. You have to believe good things about yourself and to know that you are worthy of good things entering your life. If you think it, know it and walk in it….then it has to become present in your life.
When do I say Affirmations?
Me personally, I am on this self-employment journey and it can get very uncomfortable and discouraged sometimes due to low bookings or clients not booking what I want them to book. I have two options, I can be sad and think negative thoughts that won’t motivate me to keep going and keep showing up for you orrr I can continue to motivate myself though my Affirmations and keep creating content, keep shooting and keep showing up for you! I’ve come too far to give up, I speak so much life into myself, that I refuse to give up. Affirmations keep me in a positive mindset that gives me the confidence to keep going!
When do I say Affirmations?
Speak as if what you want to come into your life, is already in your life. For example: I am disciplined with my finances. I might not currently be disciplined in that area of my life but I am going to speak as if I am enough times until I actually am disciplined with my finances. Another example, I am worthy of all good things that come to me.
