There’s something powerful about a woman who decides to do something that scares her.

And then does it again.

Recently, I photographed a returning client for her second boudoir experience with me and watching her step into her power all over again reminded me why I do this work.

She is curvy. She is relatable. She looks like so many of the women who sit on my consultation calls and say:

“I’ve always wanted to do this, but I don’t know if I’m confident enough.”

Let me tell you something…

Confidence didn’t come first.

Her Boldness Came Before the Confidence

When she first booked her original boudoir session, she was nervous.

Like most women, she had questions:

  • “What do I wear?”

  • “What if I don’t like my body in the photos?”

  • “Am I photogenic?”

  • “Is this really for someone shaped like me?”

But instead of waiting to “lose weight.”Instead of waiting to “feel ready.”Instead of waiting for the “perfect time.”

She chose herself anyway.

That decision, that was the bold part.

And when she saw her images for the first time… everything shifted.

She didn’t see flaws.

She saw power. She saw softness.

She saw sensuality. She saw herself in a way she never had before.

That’s why she came back.

Why She Booked Again

Women don’t rebook boudoir because they need more pictures.

They rebook because of how it made them feel.

After her experience, she walked differently. She carried herself differently. She showed up differently.

And when you’ve experienced that level of self-connection once… you want it again.

You Don’t Have to Feel Ready

If you’re reading this and thinking:

“I love this for her… but I don’t know if I could ever do that.”

Let me gently remind you:

She once felt the same way.

Boldness doesn’t mean you’re fearless. It means you move forward anyway.

And sometimes, the confidence you’re waiting for? It’s on the other side of the decision.

If she can do it…You can too.

And I would be honored to show you what I see when I look through my lens.
