My client chose to mark her birthday with a boudoir birthday baddie experience, expecting a fun and empowering experience. What she didn’t expect was how deeply moving the day would become so much so that she ended up crying tears of joy during the shoot. What Made the Experience So Emotional
As the session began, the she started to relax. While she was getting her makeup done I was so pleased with how beautiful she looked, so I said, "You look so beautiful" and then came the waterworks!
Right after her makeup was finished, she looked at herself in the mirror and saw not just her reflection but a woman who had overcome challenges, grown stronger, and deserved to be celebrated. The realization overwhelmed her, and she tried holding back tears of joy. These were not tears of sadness but of deep happiness.
